About
Konami's 1982 arcade shooter, first time on any Apple II. Your plane sits in the center and the sky scrolls under it as you fly through five eras, from 1910 biplanes to flying saucers, shooting down waves and the boss at the end of each one, rescuing parachuting pilots along the way.
Option and Open Apple rotate, Space or Enter fires (hold it), 1 and 2 start one or two player games, P pauses, J switches to the joystick, C is a practice mode with endless lives. Stefan Wessels wrote it in 65816 assembly with ORCA/M in June 2024; sound came in v1.3 with code from Brutal Deluxe, and v1.6 added the splash screen and speedups.
The 1.6 MB .po boots straight into the game; the two 800K floppies are for installing onto a hard drive. This archive does not host the disk; get it from the GitHub releases page.
