About

Ninjaforce's first demo, August 1992, and the moment the German group got noticed. It was first shown at an AUGE (Apple User Group Europe) meeting in Frankfurt, where Jesse Blue met Clue and the two decided to keep working together. The graphics and music were ripped from an Amiga 2000 and played back with FTA's NoiseTracker; the intro that builds the logo, the bob (blitter object) animations and a simultaneous scrolltext were new on the GS. Ninjaforce admit they padded two thirds of the disk with random numbers so ShrinkIt could not compress it, to keep it from vanishing into a big software collection.

The demo opens with a mouse-driven dialog asking whether to switch the machine to 50 Hz; pick an option and click. Ninjaforce publish the floppy image and a hard-drive installer; the installed version is what runs from our Demoscene P8 collection. Boot in browser runs the original disk in the 3.5" drive.
