About
Kent Dickey's KEGS (Kent's Emulated GS) has been in development since the 1990s and is the ancestor of GSport and GSplus. It is fast, accurate for most software, scriptable from the command line, and still actively maintained with new releases in 2026 (1.38). The interface is minimal by design; configuration is a text-mode menu (F4). The Megademo runs. A bare-metal build of KEGS for the Raspberry Pi is listed separately as BMApple2.
