GS/OS application on a ProDOS disk. Browser boot starts System 6 with this volume mounted; open the disk and launch the app. Or download the flat disk image (0.8 MB).
About
GS Miner is a GS/OS application that mines real Bitcoin work over a Stratum pool connection (Marinetti TCP), with a live SHR dashboard for hashrate, jobs, difficulty, and a BLOCK ETA measured in quadrillions of years. DEMO mode runs the full SHA-256d loop and UI on any stock Apple IIGS or emulator with no network. LIVE mode needs Marinetti and a pool.
Built for the IIGS's 40th anniversary year. Measured about 9-10 H/s on a stock 2.8 MHz GS; faster on a TransWarp. CoGS card integration is in progress; until then this ships as a normal GS/OS app on a ProDOS disk. Source and releases: github.com/rperissi/iigs-bitcoin-miner.
