Hi,
I am wondering if there is a way to transfer characters between the GS/OS versions of Bard's Tale I & II provided on this site. Since they don't ask for character disks upon startup, there doesn't seem to be any option to do so. I'm not sure if there is a less obvious way. Any help would be appreciated.

Honest answer: I don't know.
I've always played the original ProDOS 8 versions rather than the GS/OS ones, simply because that's how I started playing them and I prefer the music.
About the only thing I can think of is trying to copy your characters file across to the other and renaming the file. This won't be a sure fire way of course, and you might find your inventory is a little screwed up, but your character attributes should be the same. At least, this is what I found if I did a straight use of the ProDOS 8 Bard 1 characters into ProDOS 8 Bard II, without properly importing them.
