About
The first GS demos, before FTA. Apple Chemical Software's Demo Disk 1 (1988) and Demo Disk 2 (1989) are text-menu compilations of small effects: scrollers, sprite bounces, early sample players. They are the baseline that Nucleus blew past a year later, and worth a look for that reason. The ACS Animations disk and the Music Disk GS came from the same group.
Each disk boots to a menu; pick an entry with a number key. Floppy-only. Boot in browser starts Demo Disk 1; Demo Disk 2 is the second download.
